I was referred to James Wong after my hip replacement went wrong. It was the best thing that could have happened to me. I had been in agony for three years and my mobility was practically nil and I used a mobility scooter etc. When I met Mr Wong I was at my lowest ebb he showed me such kindness and gave me complete confidence that he would be able to help me. I was in traction at Queens Hospital and Mr Wong kept me informed the whole time as to what was happening. He carried out the revision hip replacement successfully and weeks later carried out the left hip replacement successfully. I am now able to walk pain free and it is because of the skill of Mr Wong. He has given me my life back and my husband and family will be forever grateful to him.

My Name is Brian Halls I am 59 Years of age, I have had 2 Total Knee Replacement Surgeries, both where carried out by Mr James Wong, both Knee Replacements are Very Successful. My occupation as a Window Cleaner is quite demanding on my knees & they had been extremely painful for several years. My first Knee Replacement Surgery was Carried out on April 1st 2016 which was on a Friday, I was walking on crutches on Saturday 2nd by late morning, just 24 hours after Surgery, the Nurses regularly came & asked for a Pain-Score & by Sunday 3rd, in the morning, I was taken off of Strong Pain Killers as I was feeling quite Comfortable & had a low Pain-Score, I went home on Monday 4th, & on Saturday 30th April 2016 just 4 weeks & 1 day after Surgery I walked my youngest Daughter down the Aisle to get Married, there where no problems in between at all. Within 5 Weeks of Surgery I returned to Work & I could even manage going up the ladders with ease. My 2nd Knee Replacement was carried out on 18 th October 2016 & this was equally as successful as the first Surgery had been, I even left Hospital a day earlier & once again I was back at work within 5 weeks of Surgery. Also Due to Religious beliefs I had certain requirements & Mr James Wong was understanding considerate & helpful with these requirements. I first met with Mr James Wong at The Chelmsford Private Hospital in Essex in December 2015, I felt Very Comfortable in his company, He took the time to show me Via Diagrams X-Ray's & Models exactly what would be taking place with the Operations, He put me at ease & talked me through the 2 Knee Replacement Procedures the Physio & the recovery times & what would be expected of myself with a view to exercises etc & also what to expect with a view to the possibility of discomfort the possible limitations & being off of work. This is my Personal Opinion of Mr James Wong, that he is a Brilliant Surgeon, a thoroughly Kind & Considerate Person who will put you at ease, I've had 4 other Operations over the years all to do with Osteo-Arthritis by 3 different Surgeons, they where all good & Proffessional but Neither of them in my Opinion come close to my experience with Mr James Wong, I almost wish that I had another Leg with a bad Knee..... I Cannot Thank him enough for what he has done for me...... Many Thanks to You Mr James Wong................
